The Scab/Scar Series

On Christmas Eve, 2005, while mountain biking in Southern California (in Sycamore Canyon) with my brother and my sister-in-law, I took a rather hard fall. I landed on my head, chin, chest and knees (judging by the locations of injuries). My chin took the worst hit: it was quite bloody and I had it stitched (about 6-10 stitches: photo at the bottom of the page). To document the healing process, below I have pictures taken one week apart, starting on 12/24/05. Scroll to the right to see them all.

Since I've shaved off the beard, and the wound's healed, I probably won't update this for a while. I imagine the appearance of the scare will change only slowly.
