Four hand prints of a linocut self portrait. I'm not super happy with the printing...

I made my first linocut print. I went to the UW Art library, got a few books, then went to the UW bookstore and bought some supplies (lino block, ink, cutters, bench hook/inking plate) and spent the evening at home cutting the block and printing it by hand. I made six prints. It was quite fun, and I learned a lot. I really want to do more, and do some wood cuts, since I think you can get more detail with the harder material (it was clear that the lino (at least this lino) doesn't handle fine details well). This print scan clearly shows the unevenness of my inking/pressing, but I like it.
