Algorithmic Drawings
[January 2024]
This is a small collection of drawings made using code I wrote to recursively subdivide geometric regions (e.g., split in two, or plot circles inside, etc.), starting with an initial rectangle. The code randomly selects a proba- bility distribution for each drawing that determines the likelihood of any particular kind of subdivision used. I generated thousands of these, and chose some of the most interesting to include in this collection.
